Though a little on the fussy side for beginners, Radermachera Sinica (China Doll) makes a lovely houseplant. It's very important to be sure you have the right conditions before bringing one home. I know I was a little frustrated with my first try, but once I found the perfect spot it thrived. It needs a lot of bright, indirect sunlight and is happiest in warmer temperatures away from a chilly draft. Be sure not to overwater this one as it is very prone to root-rot if your pot is not well drained. Once you find its happy place leave it there as it doesn't like to be moved or transplanted. You can do i!
